If you are not familiar with Norton Musical Services and your first contact is online, you should know the following:

         Dr. Norton holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Coe College        in Iowa and both a Master of Arts and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Stanford University. He earned a Performance Diploma from the Universität für Musik und dartsellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria with a focus on German Lieder and Oratorio

         Since 2001 he has been responsible for providing outstanding musical training and services here in Seattle, having retired from over thirty years teaching and conducting in academic institutions, including primary, elementary, secondary, college and university levels. My specialty is  private music instruction on piano and in voice, most often at your own home. I also offer pre-school music classes through the "Music Together" program at both Music Center of the Northwest and at the Seattle Hebrew Academy.

         In addition to private and class musical instruction, I also offer recording possibilities in my home studio. For the Jazz Singer, I provide transcription services and practice materials. Why not record your favorite song for a family member or friend?          After a few years lying dormant, it was time to up-date my website. Under "About us" you will find the types of services I offer.
